Inked Venus
During a holiday, I visited the National Archaeological Museum in Naples (MANN), which is home to countless marble sculptures. I wondered whether any of them had tattoos — they didn’t — so I decided to give Venus, one of the marble figures, a full-body tattoo myself, merging classical form with contemporary expression.
“Inked Venus” Printed on luxurious Hahnemühle William Turner paper, each artwork features a 5cm white border, with the motif sized at 50x66 cm and overall dimensions of 60x76 cm. Signed and stamped.
