Mickey is part of my Icons series. The idea began as an experiment in how creativity can shift perception: by adding just two large circles, an aggressive warship could be transformed into something playful and humorous.
I had the design CNC milled from MDF in various sizes, with the smallest block used to create this set of monoprints. Each was made by applying acrylic paint directly to the MDF and pressing it onto thick 360 g paper.
Measuring 89 × 60 cm, every print is one of a kind — and only five exist.
