Seabrahorse

Not quite a seahorse. Not quite a zebra. Somewhere in between.

In a world obsessed with opposites, left or right, high or low, land or sea, this creature represents the middle ground. A nod to the Dutch polder model, where compromise is a strength, not a weakness.

The Zebrahorse doesn’t choose sides. It simply exists, striped, strange, and unapologetically in-between.

I created the Seabrahorse a long time ago, and to this day it continues to inspire me. It was clearly never just a ‘flavour of the month’ design  it’s a timeless piece. Deep down, that’s what I’m always searching for in my work, though I don’t always manage to find it.
